1/13/2016 I have place hyperlinks to writing samples for my stage play and screenplay on the “Theatre” page. I feel that concise copy and articles on subjects that I think are interesting are better ways to engage readers than simply posting writing samples. I enjoy education and interesting events so I will be covering these topics from time to time.

I have added “mock-up” drafts of cover artwork for the book that I am working on with Rosedog Books. The cover artwork was done by Rosedog Books, at which time, I was responsible for providing biographical information and giving my approval for the appearance of my name. I did not do the cover artwork for the book; though I did write the biography. Not bad I thought.

The big day arriveth. “Observations, Book, Essay, and Material From Various Works,” went to print and it is available through Rosedog Books. I started a Facebook promotion page to talk about it a little more as a salesman; I was accepted into the GoodReads Author Program, and I am waiting to here back from my publisher about Amazon AuthorCentral. I am very happy with what some of these developments mean to me because I’m still a fan of some of these figures of daunting reputation. You can work alongside some people and still be a fan.
I added a publisher contact info page to my website. It’s intended to be a place to find a little more about what I’m doing through Rosedog Books. They said I could start a website but I think a page is still pretty good. If I said that I didn’t feel better about my work it would be untrue. I am satisfied with what I have (and I’m even seeing someone).
Just one more thing…there is one more thing that I have been doing, It’s lengthy, I wrote it. I will say what it is someday, when I’m ready. Since, you must know. When it’s old and cold, but I’m still done. This one was not easy but I am done…obviously I care about the work I do. New pages are still important developments.

On the Importance of Erotic Novels; written years earlier, posted retrospectively.
I couldn’t believe. Not in this crowd. Low-level writers, producers, directors…and erotic novelists. I couldn’t believe what this dude went to bat with. It put my entire body of work to shame. I left the party feeling hollow and self-important. In a room full of next-big ideas (many of which were in fact very good) this dude was going to bat with his erotic novel. It was not the shameless self-promotion of a jokester vying for attention. After softening me up with his verse drama (this was a playwright party of course), after we had had a few plastic cups of champagne and could speak comfortably, he asked me if I read erotic novels…Of course I was off put! “No!” I said. I was a little disappointed he had steered the conversation into such uncomfortable territory. Until he told me he wrote it and he had a kindle version. I couldn’t believe it; I couldn’t believe it because this wasn’t his dirty little secret. This was his magnum opus. The reserved little man was going to bat with his erotic novel in a room full of next-big ideas. Anywhere else, it probably would be pretty trashy, but among a room full of writers, it was the best idea I had heard all night…Everything I had ever written at that point felt self-important. Now I’m thinking about writing one myself.

I don’t normally post something new this often but I want to post a new journal I’ve been working on, here. It’s something that I’m proud of and it helps me with many things as I go about my business. The journal is a physics journal. If you’re interested, take a look and tell me if you think my thoughts, these once private doodles, are any good at explaining physics. I like to talk about things while I do them here and this is something that I am working on here and there.

Thoughts and Feelings, Letter Intended for Political Action
Dear Senator Harris,
These are my observations of the Bill of Rights through the pandemic known as COVID-19. I am not asking for change, I am demonstrating how I am allowed to say this to a lawful person as a lawful person, through the Bill of Rights. This letter is intended to demonstrate these concepts: the thoughts and feelings of myself, Brandon Lund, through peaceful protest and freedom of expression found within the Bill of Rights. In order to demonstrate my thoughts and feelings through peaceful protest, I am going to begin a periodic photograph and observation campaign in order to demonstrate fundamental values found within the first ten amendments (the Bill of Rights). May I send these picture to the Senator periodically as a way to assemble my thoughts regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in order to demonstrate the Bill of Rights throughout the pandemic? “Wrapped Up and Moving”
I just posted a new article on to my index page. This article is intended to wrap up my life in Los Angeles; It is my biggest article and it is a point of reference for my life as well. The article covers a lot of my memories in Los Angeles (obviously its a few years old). I have moved from the big big city to quaint Santa Cruz, which is just down the road. Wrapping up my life in LA was definitely lingering in the backwater of my mind. Wrap it up with a big event that says, why wouldn’t you try surf city if it’s just down the road?

I’ve started to read and write histories like Herodotus and I wanted to update my journal because some of my most recent post I realized are not lifestyle or art and science, which is what I’m usually aiming for, they are histories. So I wanted to use this post to revolutionize my business journal from a record of lifestyle choices into a history of current events. I’ll probably still post on lifestyle but some of these posts are intended to alter MY point of view (not you, the reader) which makes them histories.
To Whom It May Concern in Congress,
FISA imposes a daunting task
And the NSA looks down from up high.
The Espionage Act
Implies “secret courts,” and the right to spy.
But when the well fills up
And the news liberates the people, through fame,
Why not tip your cup
To Church and State as separate through your name?
The news is wonderful, a wonderful clause,
But give me the whole book including its flaws
Through a hero. Why would I let your potion billow up and begin
When laws are in place that leave the full picture in?
I’m going to take your showy strength light
But do anything through the State that implies religious crime
And it’s a gun-fight!

“P-Box,” my first feature length film which cost me a scant $500 to produce was selected for the winter session showing at the Fantastic Indie Film Festival in Los Angeles. I got a “laurel,” and everything. Yes! I am very thankful to have been selected.

Note to self: I’m not sure if the country is under martial law…or the law of combat!
What am I to do? I thought. Then I shouted to a thunder-cloud shrowded sky:
I have a hatchet, I can make an idiot raft!
I have a saw, I can cut an idiot board!
I have a pole, I can catch an idiot fish!
I also have a striker, I can make a beautiful fire!
And so on and so forth.
Hey, don’t mess with me pal, I might event have thunder that I control from the end of a stick!
Now I need a vault! I need gold as well…
Then I thought, I have a canteen, I can fill it with life giving water.
And so on and so forth.
I will say this once, I do not believe the Arabian Knights announce their presence with sand-weathered armor that shines with authority. I also do not believe that you cannot populate the land of a failed people with an auxiliary state filled with barbarians that look like Super Mario and Walt Disney. By and large, I wouldn’t do anything, if things should develop, that isn’t your cup of tea. Because I know how that guy with an arabesque-look crossing the sands of the Arabian desert in a cage got there.
Do you think everything is going to be fine? Because, aside from that, it might. Lastly, I wouldn’t surrender to anyone who is not in uniform and that’s it. That’s all I wanted to say. Everything should be fine.

It’s a little early for an updated but I wanted to declare a game that I’ve been thinking about called “Primary State vs. Menacing Auxiliary State.” I will declare my observations of history as well, but, remember these observations, every last one, begins and ends with the United States Constitution (in terms of proof). The image below was taken from www.cfr.org and I have used the general idea of a logarithm to prove my observations, which means that my proof is mathematical. Therefore, I am still in keeping with the First Amendment. Brandon’s choices for “Primary State vs. Menacing Auxiliary State,” are as follows:

I am pretty much a nice normal guy but I have one question I would like to ask of others, everyone for that matter; first, suspend your assumptions for me, perhaps if you will, and delve deep into foreign cultures; as of now I have been researching Raga music. I like Raga music and I have a little bit of a back story for it due to my years in Los Angeles. But please begin with what you perceive to be “foreign.” Now, as you suspend your assumptions while delving deep, deep into foreign cultures from EVERYWHERE; Africa, South Asia, South East Asia, Europe, South America, North America, etc. Now, as you delve deep, deep into foreign cultures from everywhere, look deeply into the person or peoples you are researching or gazing upon and ask yourself a handful of questions, such as “Are you a lamb lover or a ground beef lover?” “Are you a rock and roll lover or a raga lover?” Look deeply into the eyes of foreigners and foreign cultures and ask yourself, what makes us a group? My point being, though you are foreign, by all appearances, what makes us a group or “people,” so to speak? Why do we have so much in common, though you are a foreigner and why do I have so little in common with “my people,” though they are by all accounts “normal,” to me, so to speak? What makes us a people, though you are foreign to me? When it comes to my people, what makes us different is so obvious to me that I must search foreign cultures for my own people. Do this enough, and you may just find that all of us listen to a little Raga music and all of us listen to a little Rock and Roll. Your people could be anyone: if music charms the soul also know that all that glitters is not gold.

Listen up America and friends here and abroad. I want to give you a small heads up, I’m going to do you a solid favor free of charge, okay. I know what the intelligence community is trying to do, okay. It is pure propaganda. The intelligence community is trying to disarm the American people through, ta-da, utensils because, ta-da, utensils are your teeth in nature. You can fight and feed with utensils. You can also smile and frown through utensils because you have tiny little teeth now as a human being, so if I cover your face with a mask, you can no longer smile or frown in my face through utensils. But you obviously still have utensils, otherwise it is illegal (pst. dare I say, religious crime). Ha-ha! Ha ha ha. It means I am a thousand times strong than a solider through utensils. You can reference the Bible on your own, this one is obviously a freebie courtesy of research into history done by yours truly.
Now please consider this, it is highly possible that the situation we find ourselves in, pandemic urgency, unusual behavior such as wiping down surfaces that have or have not been touched, without circumstance, covering our faces without circumstance, distancing ourselves socially without circumstance, it is all intended to destroy evidence that perhaps foreign nationals are in our countries under suspicious, dare I say highly unusual circumstances. That by wiping down surfaces, you are in fact destroying connections, evidence, that can in fact prove some of the people you are currently involved with are in fact clandestine figures. Dare I say, spying on you. My point, if someone should give you a finger print through lawful circumstances, why wouldn’t you keep it if you have the expertise to do so, through the law?

I’ve been coming to terms with a lot of things I think and feel about history and the state of the world as it is today. I’ve been having these fantasies about the problems we face through the book of Judges and, with just the property that I have on my person, where I have people just coming at me but I am armed on both sides, and then, I just start rewriting history the way that I see it, and how they disagreed with me but, again, I am armed on both sides in the fantasy but, in all fairness, they have a gang, things like that. That and a little music helps also as of daily intrigues.
For the most part, when it comes to America, I believe the international community is a little Babylonian when it comes to certain people. Who ultimately believes air is administered by the government? As for me personally, I believe air is a naturally occurring phenomenon, one which cannot be governed. And that through a Babylonian-sized point of view, you will perceive the new world through certain people; but your name is a word that comes from human nature; trees and animals procreate without permission from government; that you can in fact take credit for cutting down or killing a two thousand year old tree, but you cannot invent or conjure a tree because a tree is naturally occurring. Those types of assumptions are often encouraged through the new world. That certain people in America are considered divine beings through government. A doozy like that might take a few centuries to cultivate.

How does that sit with you? And you, over there? And you also. Are we in any danger right now if we just sit here? Shhh. You stupid son of a–…. Don’t you ever! (Banging of pots and pans which implies turmoil then, silence). I think they’re gone. Does anyone have a candid story or personal anecdote to tell? And shhh. Keep it down.
